6th
Avenue Historic Apartment Rehabilitations
The
rehabilitation of these four historic apartment buildings
demonstrates the community's commitment to its historical
heritage. Although built of quality materials in a time when
craftsmanship was valued, these structures were in various
stages of disrepair when purchased and painstakingly restored
by the current owners.

Des Moines is growing by leaps and bounds. Most noticeable
are the new housing developments replacing the rolling farm
fields. Built by a number of Des Moines-based and suburban
developers, these developments offer products that appeal
to a wide variety of buyers. Whether a house for a first-time
homeowner or a custom-designed home for a growing family,
developments in the area meet the need of those in the new
house market.
