6th Avenue Historic Apartment Rehabilitations
The rehabilitation of these four historic apartment buildings demonstrates the community's commitment to its historical heritage. Although built of quality materials in a time when craftsmanship was valued, these structures were in various stages of disrepair when purchased and painstakingly restored by the current owners.

Woodland Avenue Brickstones
The first mixed-use mixed-income building to be constructed in or near the downtown in decades, this project is designed to compliment its historic neighborhood and to stimulate additional development and rehabilitation in the area. A neighborhood restaurant will anchor the commercial space.

Easter Lake New Construction
Southeast Des Moines is growing by leaps and bounds. Most noticeable are the new housing developments replacing the rolling farm fields. Built by a number of Des Moines-based and suburban developers, these developments offer products that appeal to a wide variety of buyers. Whether a house for a first-time homeowner or a custom-designed home for a growing family, developments in the area meet the need of those in the new house market.
